How close is your home to a Nuclear Power Plant??

I ran across this site early this morning while surfing. How close is your home to a Nuclear Power Plant? I ran my zip code and was pretty shocked as to how many there are within a 70 mile radius of my house. A total of 5! So if there was some sort of disaster either terrorism or otherwise I am kind of hosed.  And if there was a coordinated attack on all or just a couple facilities this area would be Chernobyl times 10.

I haven’t really thought to much about this particular kind of “threat” and honestly I am not really going to spend to much time thinking about it. I have a plan to bug out anyway, everything else is just replaceable material items, and some of it no matter how hard you try to decontaminate shouldn’t be replaced.

Just my thought about it all.
