Picked up a FoodSaver V3230 vacuum sealing system at WalMart yesterday, I think for $99 less tax.
The box came with an instruction booklet, one roll of continuous bag material, 2 large, 2 medium, and 2 small pre-made bags. I want to say half gallon, quart and pint sized. The only real prepping for the machine is to remove the plastic and tape that holds down the doors.
As of today I the only thing I have sealed so far is the failed attempt at dehydrating my apples. The system is pretty easy to use and idiot proof. My only complaint is the width of the bags. I thought of sealing clothes or larger items but with this unit I am out of luck. I’ll keep updating as I use the sealer over the next few months and maybe keep an eye out for a larger one.
Awesome!! Keep me posted on any great ideas 🙂
Congrats on a great machine! I use mine all the time and love it. It saved me so much more than I paid for it. And for my long-term storage, it’s perfect.
