I believe in the Constitution, and the only country in the world that does not have a name, The United States of America.
The US is not faultless by stretch of the imagination, but it is still the greatest place on earth. There are many that admire and despise what we are and stand for. I cannot change the latter attitudes. You do have to agree that there are many people and countries that want to be “like us” within their own cultural or societal views.

I say the above statement based on having traveled extensively throughout most of the world and spent a considerable amount of time in third and second world countries during my adult life. I am not a apologetic at all for what this country has done for me, my family, who I am, and being only a third generation American from immigrants who toiled and died in coal mines and how I feel about it all. I come from no “old money”.
I consider myself a patriot and will defend my country with my all,but not my government. Some may ponder that statement a bit of a oxymoron, but think about it for a moment, our founding fathers have all gone on the record extensively about repressive governments. Jefferson, Monroe, and Madison are three that come to mind.

17 years Naval Aircrewman, Graduated Navy SERE School, Desert Survival School, Jungle Survival School, Land Survival School, and numerous “other” Naval Schools.

5.5 years US Army Reserve Psychological Operations (Tactical), Detachment NCOIC, Team Leader.
