Modular Tear Away Panel

I ran into an issue when I started adding molle pouches to my battle belt a couple weeks back. The biggest was I wanted a BOK (blow out kit) located on the belt. But with the only open real estate left available on the back of the belt, I was forced to mount my BOK there on the back. This leads to another problem. How am I going to remove the pouch to get to the contents quickly in an emergency? I was needing a tear away panel.

Well I found there are a number of manufactures out there that offer a tear away panel that allows a person to quickly and easily remove the pouch when needed but also have it securely attached when not, needed. Tactical Taylor offered a good tear away panel at a fair price. Tactical Taylor offers a number of types of tear away panels for pretty much any need. Here is a link to all of their tear away pouches.

The tear away panel comes with a nice big piece of Velcro for the backing and four snaps for extra holding.

Also included are two large Malice clips on the back. This would be the side that you attach to your vest or belt.

This is the side you would attach your pouch or gear.

The tear away panel comes with a large handle to grab on to. Pretty cool fix without having to buy a specialty pouch.
